An Alternative View

In the city known for the Boston Tea Party and “no taxation without representation,” the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will decide whether it should be a “top down” or a “bottoms up” organization. Should leadership become highly centralized for comformity? Or should it be driven from the grassroots?

Those questions will be resolved at the PRSA International Conference in Boston on October 7-10. A key amendment will eliminate the requirement that board members hail from each district in the society. This voter’s guide (above) addresses each by-law amendment prior to the PRSA Leadership Assembly. Stay tuned.
